Landstar Development Group proposed to build a large mixed-use 3,250-home development off Northlake Boulevard. The plan also called for office space, medical offices, and a public park.
Scope of Services
TMS was retained to provide introductions to residents, elected officials, business leaders and community influencers, and persuade them to accept the proposed project. TMS was also tasked with providing expert advice on pollsters and issue management.
Activity: Developed Stakeholder Database
TMS identified stakeholders using local knowledge and existing relationships. Critical stakeholders were identified by utilizing and reviewing past campaign contributions and/or referrals. We initiated and attended many one on one meetings with community leaders.
Activity: Public Meetings
TMS handled logistics for all meetings, prepared collateral materials such as meeting notices, flyers, sign in sheets and comment cards, and staffed all meetings to take informal meeting notes to summarize for client. Through our efforts 100+ proponents attending each meeting, which resulted in the project receiving unanimous approval from both the Planning and Zoning Board and Palm Beach Gardens City Commission.
Activity: Introductions
TMS used their extensive relationships to make one on one introductions on behalf of our client to public and elected officials, industry leaders and community influencers to gain support for the project.
